Founded in 2004, DHGATE Group is a B2B cross-border e-commerce online transaction and service platform headquartered in China, with branch offices in North America, Latin America, Europe, and other places. It is also a global one-stop trade and service platform for small and medium retailers, which is the largest platform in the US market.
DHGATE Group focuses on the small B2B sector, providing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the cross-border e-commerce industry with full services. Such services, including store operation, traffic marketing, warehousing and logistics, payment and finance, customer service, risk control, customs inspection and remittance, and business training, empower Chinese manufacturers to connect with the global market.
In order to facilitate import and export trade, DHGATE group also provides SMEs with advertising services and business assistance like import and export agency services.
Name: The name of our company was inspired by the Chinese city of Dunhuang, a major stop on the ancient Silk Road that connected the east to the west. It is our dream for DHgate to become the online gateway for global trade, rebuilding the Silk Road through Internet.

Diane Wang is the founder, chairperson, and CEO at DHGATE Group, one of the leading cross-border B2B e-commerce marketplaces in China founded in 2004. By connecting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from every corner of the world with high-quality products, DHGATE Group takes a stand for fair world trade, upholds diversity and creativity.
Diane is passionate about driving the digital inclusion agenda for MSMEs and women, collaborating with international associations and agencies. She is Co-chair of Business 20 (B20) Indonesia’s Women In Business Council., member of APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC), Chair of APEC Women Leadership Summit, BRICS Women’s Business Alliance Chinese National Chapter Member, Member of High-level Advisory Council of World Internet Conference, and Chair of 50 Cross-border E-Commerce Leaders in China, to name just a few of her external positions.
Founded in 2016, APEC Women Connect is an APEC endorsed program initiated by Ms. Diane Wang, the China Representative on APEC Business Advisory Council，Chairwoman of APEC Women Leadership Forum, Founder, Chairperson and CEO of DHGATE Group.
